The latest release of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 continues to build on the evolution of ERP systems originated when Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 was released. The first generation of NAV 2009 transformed the user experience, revolutioned the rich client experience with RoleTailored UX and modernization, and significantly re-factored the architecture with 3-tier, web services, and a .NET runtime. The SP1 release in September 2009 further innovated and added new functionality for significant productivity improvements and optimized upgrade experiences for existing customers.
